Why choose window tint?
Here are our top reasons for you to choose window tint for your car, home, and business
Window tint can block up to 89% of solar heat. This reduces the amount of air conditioning needed, thus saving you money.
Window tint can block up to 99% of the harmful UVA and UVB rays from the sun that can cause skin cancer.
Window tint can reduce the glare from the sun, snow and headlights, which can increase visibility to make driving safer.
Window tint can help hold glass together when shattered. This can be beneficial during a vehicle accident or potential break-in.
Window tint can increase privacy and even help prevent theft by reducing the outside view of possessions.
What is the darkest legal tint in California?
California law requires front side windows (driver and passenger windows) to allow more than 70% visible light transmission (VLT), which means only very light tint is legal on these windows. Since most factory glass already comes tinted around 70–80% VLT, this effectively means no additional tint can usually be added to the front side windows while staying street legal in California.
Rear side windows and the rear windshield can be tinted as dark as desired under California law for most passenger vehicles, giving drivers the freedom to maximize privacy, reduce heat, and enhance the overall look of their vehicle while staying fully compliant.
Our team will help you select a film that delivers maximum performance while staying fully compliant with California tint laws.
